We favour organically grown, Nordic ingredients, certified suppliers and traceable batches. Active ingredients such as red microalgae are produced biotechnologically under controlled conditions, so natural resources are never depleted.
Vegan Friendly, no animal testing
All Essential products are Vegan Friendly. Animal testing is banned in cosmetics across the EU, and we uphold this throughout our entire supply chain.

Smoothing active — Velvet
Red microalgae
Red microalgae (Porphyridium cruentum) is a marine, biotechnologically produced active and one of the key ingredients in our Velvet targeted serum. Its polysaccharides form a fine, flexible film on the skin that helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and supports the skin's protective barrier.
FOR MATURE SKIN
PDRN

Multi-level hydration
Three hyaluronic acid molecules
Hyaluronic acid molecules of different sizes bind moisture at different depths of the skin: larger molecules leave a smoothing film on the surface, while smaller ones hydrate deeper within the surface layers. Working together, they leave skin feeling plumper than a single molecule size ever could.
Nordic antioxidant
Blueberry
Finnish blueberry is one of the most antioxidant-rich Nordic berries. As an extract, it brings protective polyphenols to the formula. Our blueberries are hand-picked from pristine nature.
Pampering berry extract
Sea buckthorn
Sea buckthorn juice and extract are traditional Nordic ingredients that pamper the skin, contributing fatty acids and carotenoids to the formula.
Seasonally harvested raw sap
Maple sap and birch sap
Sap is collected in spring during a short season, without harming the trees. Organically grown birch and maple sap bring freshness and minerals to the formula and support the skin's moisture balance.
Support for the skin barrier
Shea butter and plant oils
Grapeseed, almond and sunflower oils soften the skin and support its protective barrier. Our plant oils are sourced from certified suppliers.
Soothing foundation
Aloe vera
Organically grown aloe vera soothes the skin and leaves a pleasantly fresh feel. Especially suited to at-home care following in-clinic treatments.
Moisture binders
Xylitol and glycerin
These moisture-binding ingredients help keep the skin's hydration level balanced throughout the day and give the formula a pleasantly light feel.
